  Deck Lighting Tips

Aurora Deck LightingChoosing the correct deck lighting – based on function and style – will provide years of outdoor enjoyment on your deck.  The two post popular options are solar and low voltage.  Solar lighting should be considered accent lighting, to beautify the railing at night.  When you are deciding where to place your solar deck lights it may be preferable before you secure the lights to fully charge them in the sun, then place them at night where you feel they will give you the best effect.  Low voltage lighting is considered area lighting.  Low voltage lights are energy efficient and economical to operate. The brightness level of the lighting is determined by the bulb wattage that is selected. Operating at 12 volts, installing a low voltage lighting system is safe and easy - no special skills are needed.
