ENERGY EFFICIENT LIGHT BULBS
QUESTION: I bought a few of the new-energy efficient bulbs, but find they do not work on the dimmers. They stay on but will not dim. Why? Are there any brands that can be used when you want the dimmer benefit?
ANSWER: The labels on the compact fluorescents should specify what uses they can be put to. Check with the dealer to see if there are any dimmer-compatible bulbs available. I am not sure there are any fluorescents that can be used with a dimmer. I think fluorescents need full power to work.
