| Above Ground Swimming Pools | |||||||||||||||||||
|
Aboveground pools can cost considerably less than inground pools and can be installed quickly and easily - some models can be up and running within days of purchase. They're just as easy to dismantle and move when you want to do so. Above- ground pools come in a range of sizes designed to suit almost any size yard. Some are even expandable, a particularly useful feature for families that are growing or shrinking. And unlike inground pools, aboveground pools can be installed in phases, which can be a plus for your budget. However, an aboveground pool does have its limits. Round and oval are usually the only shapes available and the depth of the pool can be quite shallow. Assembly is required, so if you're not mechanically inclined, you're probably going to need professional help to get set up. Appearance can also be a concern with an aboveground pool, but selecting from various designs can help you to integrate the pool into any landscaping plan. Before purchasing an aboveground
pool, visit several pool retailers to explore your options. Check the
retailers out with your Better Business Bureau . Ask the retailer about
the warranty and what's involved in the maintenance process. If you're
concerned about such problems as rusting sides or lining punctures, be
sure to ask questions and read the fine print. © 1999 Council of Better Business Bureaus, Inc. |
